just a quick post with some truly crap pics from the desk. you can see my collection so far of the re-imagined RT era space marines project. Only two to go plus maybe an officer to lead them that i may have think up myself or get some inspiration from the rogue trader book in keeping with the project.
Then its on to reimagining the 3 classic minis in the title for my inq 28 warband. Now this will be a proper challenge to find doner parts. Intact the human I've attempted before and led me onto the SM project. Finally if i can ever find my inq rule book ill be able to start on another inspired by the awesome art contained within but can i find the bloody book can i hell as like o_O

pictographic imager non functional

Pictographic Imager is non functional and all attempts at entreaty to the omnissia to reawaken it's machine spirit have failed. Will consult a tech adept and hopefully get it working again soon to bring you images of my latest creations. If sacred oils and mechanicum approved incense fail i'm open to suggestions for a replacement.
And whilst i'm here blabbering on it's a bit of a shock about the spec games getting the chop but on reflection it may be a good thing in the long run will have to see and i'm enjoying the rumors that are being extrapolated from this event ;)
I dont like the no pics posting so until somethings sorted on the camera front unless the post is real interesting (mine are not btw hence the pics lol) so may be all quite for a while gotta save up the penny's.

Here's the falke with all it's paint done, It has got decals on now but no pics yet  (soon tho).

A more wordy update over the weekend with finished pics promise tho i have an epic cold that is hampering my motivation to do anything at the moment.

Falke coming along nicely

So it's been a little to long since my last post and for that i do apologize most sincerely but i haven't been idle, just not on anything 40k related but i hope you will like what I've been upto.

 Underneath of the Falke with some of the masking sol removed, it takes forever really for....ever.

 The lumpy areas are masking sol. Good fun pealing it off honest!!!!.

 Lots of spot colour to add and details on the gubbins between the two booms.

Masking of for the final areas on the main hull, when that's done the inspiration for the colour scheme will be much more obvious  I'll leave it at that for now, till next time which will be sooner than last time if that makes sense i'm not sure myself tbh.

some progress

Just a quick post and a couple of pics of my progress on the retro revamp project. My ideas for these guys a coalescing nicely as i work my way through them.

 I've done more since this pic another good session will see them done.

 The head is a standard half augmetic head i sanded some details off and resculpted on to get the essence of the original.

 Another new hair doo on this guy, not quite what i wonted but will have to go with the outcome as getting picky won't get this project finished any time soon.

 Here are the next for i'm planning to do probably far left and far right first then the middle two as my final members.

More and better pics in the next post and i'd just like to say a big thanks to Dia for sending a care package of bits for me to use, they were most greatfully recived and already used on these two.

Sorry for the total lack of content since last year been a bit of a shite start to the new year but everythung seems to be getting back to normal now.
The bits arrived from Dia safe and sound for the continuation of the Retro Futuristic Spaze Mahrine (TM) project thanks Dia it's much appreciated, I'll be starting back on them after the Crewe model show is out of the way.

 Here's the next victim for the RFSMP MUHAHAHAHAHA

 This is whats been occupying my time, painting this clapped out old Y wing for the Crewe model show hanger build. 

 Also this kitbash is hopefully going to attend Crewe just some tarting up and paint to go on.

This may be my next project as i need to get my scratch building skills up a level before attempting a build i've been planning for 8 years now and not had the bottle to start. Lets just say it needs to be about 6' long to   do it justice.

Hope everyone had a nice start to the new year, (well better than mine lol) and all that other stuff. Taking as a sign the Chinese new year being of the snake i plan on getting a start on my ghost Vipers Spaze Mahrine (TM) chapter when my calender frees up also just remembered that :)

 Here is the afore mentioned Turd on the left but the one on the right by todays standards is pretty dire i must admit.

 I'm really scraping the bottom of the bits box now but i do love a challange.

 Most proud of removing his head without distroying it, it's a nice sculpt just poorly positioned.

 Guard to the rescue and the main GS done on his lower legs and chest ( pretty poor job on the power cables sorry)

 My second most fave bit of this mini is the hair doo, is it Mel Gibson or Michel Dougles. 

 Back pack banner was already knackerd so i desided to cut it at an upward angle as if it had been hacked off by an upward cut from an enemy.

 Still need to bulk out his left hand a bit more and some small bumpson the back of his legs need doing.

 No helmet with the original so no helm with him, i'm planning his back story that he never wears one unless absolutley nessesery that's why he has the comms and the funky eye thingy over his right eye to keep updated on his squad.

Next up power axe guy and then melta gun guy but will have to splase out on some more donor bodys for them as i'm about at the end of the rubbish in the bits box and have plans for the rest of my stash so ebay it is then.

 

Comments are the life blood of blogging so even if its (nice doo ) or (stop my eyes are bleeding at the horror of 13 year old you's paint jobs)  it's always nice.
